Training Philosophy
Here at Paw Creek we practice balanced training. With balanced training, along with reward and lots of repetition there is also correction or consequences. When teaching a dog a behavior or command there must be a reward so the dog wants to learn and then build the behavior with repetition. For unwanted preexisting behavior there must be a correction and consequence.
Helping the Rescues
Amanda and Brian started Paw Creek Training to help local rescues rehabilitate and train "problem" dogs and get them adopted to forever homes. They are dedicated to the dogs and families that adopt and want to ensure success for the future. That is why they offer continued training after adopting a dog that has been with Paw Creek Training. Paw Creek Training always has a dog or 2 in the program that are available for adoption. Check out Adoptable's!
Our Pack
Paw Creek wouldn't be able to do what we do without their pack of dogs. They range from seniors to youngsters, Bully breeds to Chihuahua and Corgi. The pack gives us the ability to gauge a dog's energy and confidence. So whether the dog is dog reactive or feral the Paw Creek Training pack can help!
